Downtown Sanford to Try Out Open Container for Small Business Saturday

Downtown Sanford business owners are hoping to see a lot of customers come in this weekend. To help bring in more people, and to make the day more enjoyable, the city is allowing downtown shoppers to walk around with their alcoholic beverages.

For one day only, customers along Historic Sanford’s Main Street district can go from store to store and shop while sipping on their favorite alcoholic drink. Organizers hope it brings more people downtown.
